Admission Requirements for New Students:

The Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University is committed to accepting students whose academic records indicate a high potential for success. The University, in keeping with its mission, is dedicated to providing access and higher education opportunities. We recognize that some students have the potential for success that is only clearly evident in the test results.

Therefore, in order to be fully acceptable at the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, you must have a composite predictive index index (CPI) of 18 or higher. The CPI is a combination of GPA and ACT / SAT scores. However, GPA can not be less than 2.0.
